In our work with galleries and museums, we frequently handle a diverse range of artworks - from small, delicate pieces to surprisingly heavy objects. This variety demands a hook that is both compact enough to work with standard picture hanging systems (typically d-rings) and robust enough to support substantial weights.
The slotted centrehook has become an indispensable tool in our arsenal. Its key advantage lies in the slot itself, which allows for minute adjustments in hang height. This feature is crucial in gallery settings, where the exact positioning of artworks is the task at hand.

Emily. The install that changed everything. We were privileged to install a unique project - featured image: a grand salon hang featuring 81 works on a curved wall spanning 30m x 6m. This installation was of a highly regarded Australian artist.
My colleague's expertise in mathematics allowed us to pre-plan the entire wall layout. The Centrehooks brought our vision to life. As we progressed, these innovative hooks enabled us to:
- Level each artwork with precision
- Make subtle adjustments to ensure perfect alignment
- Compensate for frame inconsistencies (such as warping or skew)
- Address variables that careful calculations can't always predict
